Shout? 喊叫？外國人點飲料是用喊叫的嗎？Ben看著老外手拿著一杯飲料走出來，沒怎麼喊叫。原來，shout you a drink跟喊叫沒有關係。

（Ｏ）我請你喝一杯飲料。
Shout這個字大家熟悉的意思是「大聲說話、大喊大叫」。
There's no need to shout, I can hear you.
（沒有必要大聲喊叫，我完全聽得見。）
Shout 也可以表達「支付款項、請客」的意思，是澳洲或紐西蘭較常見的用法。
Let me shout you a drink.
（我請你喝一杯吧。）
It’s my turn to shout.
（這次該我請客了。）
Shout當請客時，也有名詞的用法：

（Ｘ）這是我的呼喊。
（Ｏ）這次我請客。

（Ｏ）告訴我吧。／聯絡我吧。
Give me a shout是一個常見的口語用法，意思是「告訴我」或「聯絡我」，相當於中文裡的知會我一下，讓我知道一下。當我們想和朋友或同事安排見面時，就可以說：
If you’re free this weekend, give me a shout.
（如果你這個週末有空，聯繫我。）
想讓對方知道你願意提供幫助時，也可以用give me a shout。
Give me a shout if you have any questions.
（如有任何問題，隨時告訴我。）
希望對方在某個時間點聯繫，可以這樣說。

Shout out字面意思是「喊出聲音」，引申為「公開表達致意」，用來表達感謝或致敬，常見於公開場合、媒體，特別是在頒獎典禮。
